Gaomon S620

TLDR

Cheap tablet with minimal hardware smoothing. Works well for osu! but you should just buy a CTL-472 instead.

Getting the Tablet

It's a pretty cheap tablet. It won't break the bank. Prices do fluctuate, so do buy them during the sales.

I bought mine second hand. $20 fled my bank account into somebody else's bank account.

Pen

Gaomon AP32, which is a pretty nice round tube with a grip on there. Has a PW202 PCB.

515kHz Hover, 530kHz Max, 470kHz and 480kHz for pen buttons.

Testing

This is actually my test bed for pen frequency measurements. It's just a bare PCB with a wire soldered to one of the contacts where I measure the pen frequency so I can attach an oscilloscope probe with ease.

Worked well as my main osu! tablet for around 6 months before I got a Wacom CTH-470.

The tablet works fine for normal use too. The tracking is fine for what it is, and the anti-chatter processing turns off when dragging for whatever reason. Smoothing still remains.
