Ugee UE12

It's a cheap, low end display that I found pretty good as a writing pad for annotating and whatnot. It's quite bad for drawing.
It is sold in the global market, but at a remarkable 3 times markup compared to the Chinese market. I bought it with my own money. 668CNY, or ~$95USD (Sep 2024) wandered out of my bank account at the time of purchase.
Comes with Ugee PH23 pen. Utter garbage, IAF of... ~5-12g, and max pressure of ~160-180g. Doesn't even come with a rubber grip, and feels ultra cheap with no grip.
Works fine for annotating though and doing math equations. Bit slippery for longer drawing sessions.
Display looks fine to me. Looks sharp and colours are fine. Has a bit of unevenness with the backlight, but I think I just have a defective model, since it's only on the middle part of the bottom edge.
Just make sure to change the display profile to sRGB, Adobe RGB, or DCI-P3 because the default colour mode is a warm, saturated dumpster fire.
The bezels are quite nice to rest my drawing hand on.
There's an exorbitant amount of position smoothing, especially if you're hovering. Pretty much ruins the drawing experience. Also, there is no way to reverse smoothing, since hover/drag are not exactly the same and smoothing reversal algorithms will overshoot.
Fine for doing homework with, not good for drawing.
The pen also needs to be redesigned to resemble something more than just a thin flimsy stick.
